3 Days in Luang Prabang   (Lao)

Luang Prabang/Pak Ou Cave/Boat Trip

Day 01: ARRIVAL-LUANG PRABANG (-/-/D)

Arrive at Luang Prabang, transfer to your hotel for check in/Start your visit with Vat Vixoune influenced by Thai- Lu architecture and That Makmo, the watermelon shaped stupa. Proceed to Vat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang dating back from 16th century. Climb up Phousy Hill for a panoramic view of the city and the Mekong River. Dinner and accommodation at your hotel.

 

Day 02: LUANG PRABANG – PAK OU CAVES– LUANG PRABANG       (B-L-D)

Breakfast at your hotel/Start your day of visit the National Museum the former Royal King’s Palace then proceed to embark at the local pier of Luang Prabang on a traditional boat and cruise upstream on the Mekong River to visit the sacred Buddha caves. On the way stop at Thin Hong - a picturesque village - to get a glimpse of daily life. Visit Tham Ting and Tham Phoum caves in which you find hundreds of Buddha statues. Lunch at a local restaurant near by the caves. Return to Luang Prabang by boat. On the way back stop at Ban Xang Khong, handmade paper village. Drop in the old city for a walk or shop at a Hmong market. Dinner at a local restaurant  and accommodation at your hotel.

 

Day 03: LUANG PRABANG – NEXT DESTINATION (B/-/-)

Breakfast at your hotel Transfer to the airport for take flight to your next destination.     End of our services…
